ASG-Cypress Knowledge Builder is a document search and retrieval solution that integrates with ASG-Cypress’ innovative database technology. It enables users to find, view, and use the content contained in any document created in their business, regardless of the source platform or application. Plus, it eliminates the need for multiple document archiving systems and search engines.

ASG-Cypress’ visionary technology permits enterprises to archive billions of documents, yet enables individuals or groups to access and distribute any page of any document instantly. Unlike other archiving systems, such as Microsoft® Word or Excel, which archive documents in their original applications, ASG-Cypress archives the content in a format that enables fast access and retrieval at the page level. Users can quickly access all or part of a document, and extract a virtual facsimile that has the same content and format as the original, with 100% fidelity.

Using ASG-Cypress Knowledge Builder is similar to using a Web-based search engine or Internet directory. Users can also create "prepared" queries that are easy to implement, but are based on a complex set of search instructions.
